In 1987, brothers Paolo and Giorgio Polegato began Astoria Vini. Hailing from the winemaking family behind Antonini Ceresa Vini, these two have also kept Astoria Vini a family affair. Their wines are produced on the sunny Tenuta Val De Brun estate located in Refrontolo in the DOCG Conegliano- Valdobbiadene region.

Whether on the global stage or at Vinitaly, Italy’s prestigious wine fair, the Polegato brothers are recognized for winemaking year after year. Their Millesimato Prosecco has won several prizes, including Vinitaly’s prestigious Grand Gold Medal. Beyond Prosecco, the estate boasts a diverse portfolio. Their light and fresh unoaked white wines like the Estro Chardonnay and Alisia Pinot Grigio are true to the characteristics of the grapes and very drinkable. The Mina Pinot Noir and Vini Il Puro Merlot are more robust and similarly exhibit great varietal character.
