Château Minuty is a well‑known estate in Provence, located on the Saint‑Tropez peninsula close to the Mediterranean. The château dates back to the 18th century and has been owned by the Matton‑Farnet family since 1936. It was named a Cru Classé in 1955, one of a small group of estates to receive that designation.

Today, the estate is run by brothers Jean‑Étienne and François Matton. Minuty farms around 160 hectares of vineyards, many near the coast, where sea breezes help keep the wines fresh. Grenache is central to the estate’s style, alongside Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle, and Tibouren.

Minuty is best known for its rosés, made using direct pressing and stainless‑steel fermentation to preserve clarity and freshness. The wines are dry, pale in color, and cleanly made, with an emphasis on balance rather than weight or oak. Alongside rosé, the estate also produces whites and reds in the same restrained, site‑focused style.
