Garnatxa Blanca Parés Baltà Indigena Garnatxa Blanca 2024 is a bright, Mediterranean white that captures the easy charm of Catalonia while keeping plenty of freshness and precision. Made from organically grown Garnatxa Blanca, the 2024 vintage is particularly lively and expressive, with good natural acidity balancing the grape’s generous fruit.
Expect notes of pear, white peach and citrus zest, alongside a subtle herbal edge and a gently rounded texture. It’s crisp without being sharp, with just enough weight to make it versatile at the table. Lovely with grilled squid, roast chicken with lemon, or a simple plate of manchego and olives.

Vintage report
The 2024 vintage in Penedès is still fresh enough that definitive verdicts are hard to come by, but early signs are encouraging. The growing season was marked by the kind of climatic tension that has become familiar across Mediterranean Spain — warm, dry conditions through the summer months that tested water reserves, offset by welcome rainfall at key moments that helped grapes retain freshness rather than cook. The result was a harvest that avoided the over-ripe, jammy character that can flatten wines from hotter years, giving producers something to work with rather than simply manage.
Across the board, we're seeing whites and cavas with real lift and definition — Xarel·lo and Macabeu performing well, holding the acidity that makes Penedès sparkling wine worth taking seriously. Reds from Garnatxa and Cabernet Sauvignon look lively rather than heavy. It is too early to call 2024 a great vintage, but early releases are drinking well now, and the better reds will reward another two to three years in the cellar.
