The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru “Clos de la Bussière” from Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier is a finely detailed Pinot Noir that combines Morey’s natural depth with the domaine’s signature precision. The nose shows cherry, raspberry and plum, layered with gentle spice and subtle earthy notes. On the palate it is structured yet elegant, with layered dark fruit, fine tannins and a chalky mineral thread leading to a long, refined finish.
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted lamb with herbs, duck breast with berry jus, wild mushroom risotto, braised short ribs or aged cheeses, where its fruit depth and balanced acidity complement rich, savoury flavours.
Clos de la Bussière is a historic monopole vineyard owned entirely by the Roumier family, producing wines that balance richness with freshness and age beautifully.
