Refined and pure, the Billecart-Salmon Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru NV opens with delicate aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, and green apple, underpinned by chalky minerality and subtle notes of toasted almond and brioche. The palate is taut and focused yet beautifully creamy (a hallmark of Billecart-Salmon’s polished, restrained style).
Citrus, white peach, and crisp pear glide through the mid-palate, lifted by a saline edge and a whisper of hazelnut. The fine, energetic mousse carries through to a long, elegant finish defined by tension and precision.
This is a Blanc de Blancs of quiet power and sophistication — equally as a contemplative glass on its own or alongside oysters, scallop crudo, or aged Comté.
Crafted exclusively from Chardonnay grown in the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Cramant, Chouilly, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, it’s a brilliant showcase of the house’s mastery of purity and finesse.
