La Giaretta Cor Di Vin 95 Rosso 2019 is unapologetically big, bold and hedonistic, a full-throttle Veneto red built for those who like their wines with serious swagger.
It bursts from the glass with waves of black cherry, cassis and plum, followed by tobacco, sweet spice and an irresistible Amarone-esque hint of cola. The palate is dense and velvety, packed with dark fruit and framed by silky tannins, but lifted by enough freshness to keep it charging through a long, warming finish. A proper showstopper. Pair it with braised short ribs, game, or a slab of aged Parmigiano.
Made using dried grapes in the appassimento tradition, the fruit is left to shrivel and concentrate before fermentation, amplifying richness, sugar and flavour intensity. The wine then spends around 15 months in small French oak barrels, sourced from top forests, layering in spice, polish and structure.
