Darling Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, 2024

Planted on south-facing slopes to catch cooling Atlantic breezes, this Sauvignon Blanc is all about freshness and flavour. The nose starts subtle, then opens up with vibrant notes of passionfruit, pineapple, and watermelon that carry through to the palate.

Zesty acidity keeps everything crisp and lively, while a warm, dry growing season in 2021 led to smaller berries and beautifully concentrated flavours. The grapes were hand-harvested, gently handled to avoid oxidation, and fermented cool over 14 days. There’s no oak, but two months on the lees adds a nice touch of texture and complexity. A bright, expressive Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of character.
