Château Cissac 2019 shows classic Médoc character, with ripe blackcurrant and blackberry, hints of cedar and tobacco, and a subtle graphite note typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate is structured yet polished, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity and a savoury, gently spiced finish.
A natural partner for bistro favourites such as grilled ribeye or roast lamb with garlic and herbs, it also works well with hearty vegetarian dishes like mushroom and lentil stew.
The highly regarded 2019 Bordeaux vintage combined a warm, dry summer with cool nights before harvest, allowing grapes to ripen fully while retaining freshness. At the long-established Château Cissac in the Haut-Médoc, the result is a wine that balances generous fruit with the classic structure the estate is known for.
