The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Clos de la Boudriotte” Rouge from Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is an elegant, expressive Pinot Noir combining classic Burgundian finesse with depth and structure. It shows a deep ruby colour and aromas of cherry, raspberry and wild berries, layered with delicate spice and subtle earthy notes. The palate is balanced and refined, with silky tannins, lively acidity and a long, harmonious finish that echoes with ripe red fruit.
This Premier Cru’s structure and depth make it a wonderful partner to roasted or grilled red meats, duck with fruit sauces, braised poultry, aged cheeses and rich French or Italian dishes. It can also be enjoyed slightly earlier with roasted white meats or mushroom-based dishes that echo its perfume and texture.
Ramonet, one of Chassagne-Montrachet’s most respected estates, farms around 17 hectares across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin.
