The 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté from Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is a vibrant, refined take on this classic Burgundian variety. Pale straw in colour, it offers aromas of green apple, citrus and white flowers, underpinned by a clear mineral note. The palate is bone-dry and energetic, with bright acidity, juicy fruit and a clean, refreshing finish.
Best known for its world-class whites from Chassagne-Montrachet, Ramonet applies the same precision and care to its Aligoté, often sourcing from older vines and using subtle lees contact to add texture and depth. The 2022 vintage delivered expressive, well-balanced wines, and here it highlights the grape’s freshness and mineral drive, making this an especially crisp and characterful example.
