An amazing low sugar, low calorie sparkling wine. All the fun without the sin!
The Astoria Yu Sushi sparkler was originally intended, as the name suggests, to accompany Sushi but it's great to drink as an aperitif or with any form of fish dish. It gives a stream of fine, continuous bubbles and has a light straw yellow colour. It is exceptionally elegant with clean fruity notes in the bouquet and distinctive fruit flavours on the palate with a fresh, dryish finish.
From vineyards in the Treviso hills, special grapes are sourced to create this fine and elegant sparkling wine. It's on the drier side with only 5 to 6 grams of sugar per litre and has only 63 calories per 100ml. Best served between 6 and 8 degrees C to enhance all of those fresh, fruity qualities.
