Domaine Klur is a small, highly focused estate of just 7 hectares, situated on steep, sun‑soaked slopes in the heart of Alsace. Certified organic and guided by biodynamic principles, the estate places great emphasis on working in harmony with the land. Fruit trees are interspersed among the vines, providing shelter and food for local wildlife, creating a natural balance that supports vineyard health and vitality.
Founder Clément Klur remains deeply involved in every stage of the winemaking process, and in recent years he has partnered with his neighbour Léon Heitzmann. Their collaboration has helped elevate the precision and expression of the wines, reflecting a shared dedication to quality and terroir.
The vineyards’ steep gradients require hand harvesting, allowing pickers to select only the healthiest, perfectly ripened grapes. This careful attention, combined with the estate’s ecological approach, ensures that every wine from Domaine Klur captures the character of its site with clarity, finesse, and authenticity.
