Vigne Surrau expands in northwestern Gallura, a few kilometers from the sea, a unique terroir characterised by granite rocks smoothed and shaped by the wind and water, with a dense and typical Mediterranean scrub.

The vineyards, with a south-east exposure enjoy the Mediterranean climate in well ventilated hilly areas. The wind, typical of Gallura, allows us to obtain healthy grapes and thanks to the proximity of the sea, brings sapidity, particularly appreciated feature in their wines.

Vigne Surrau

The Surrau estate is located in Gallura, a region in North-Eastern Sardinia, a few kilometres from the Mediterranean.

The south-eastern exposure of the vines, moderating influence of the sea and granite soils offer a tri-factor of favourable vineyard conditions. Once more, the Mistral winds help to ventilate the vines keeping the grapes healthy (at a lower risk of fungal disease) while adding a saline zestiness to the character of their wines.
