Vincent Girardin Terroir Noble Bourgogne Blanc 2021 is an engaging and approachable white Burgundy that showcases the house’s focus on purity and regional expression. Sourced from vineyards across the Côte de Beaune and lightly oaked with a judicious use of neutral barrel ageing, this wine balances freshness with gentle textural complexity, making it an excellent ambassador for entry-level Burgundies.

On the nose, expect citrus blossom, green apple and subtle pear, alongside hints of almond and delicate mineral lift. The palate is crisp and lively, with zesty acidity framing bright fruit flavours and a clean, precise finish that keeps the wine energetic rather than heavy.

Pair with grilled prawns in lemon-herb butter, pan-seared trout with fresh herbs, creamy chicken fricassee, or a simple chèvre salad with citrus vinaigrette.

The 2021 vintage in Burgundy was marked by warm, dry conditions that brought early ripening and ripe fruit character, yet careful vineyard work preserved freshness and tension.
