This special white wine is a pale golden yellow colour. The nose is packed with fruit and has complex notes of citrus fruits, tomato leaves with tropical fruit behind such as lychee. In the mouth it is fresh and vibrant with a near perfect balance of fruit and acidity which really makes the palate come alive. It is fairly long in the aftertaste too so it's very much a white wine that ticks all the boxes!

Incrocio Bruni 54 is a crossing by pollenation of Sauvignon Blanc and Verdicchio which was done in 1936 by Professor Bruno Bruni while working for the Italian Ministry of Agriculture. It is only really to be found in the Marche region and even there there is very little planted. This is such a shame as you will see from this wine that it makes and exceptional white wine that is good both with and without food.

OUR GROWERS

Tenimenti Spinsanti

The land for this boutique estate was purchased in 1973 by Adino Spinsanti but it wasn't until 1998 when his daughter, Catia, began producing wine.

Situated in the hilly area of Camerano in the Conero National Park, this is a fairly mild area thanks to the proximity of the Adriatic and it is characterised by the warm days and cool nights which guarantee good sugar levels and aromatic compounds in the grapes.
