OUR GROWERS

Champagne Taittinger

Taittinger is one of Champagne’s few remaining family-owned houses, founded in 1734 (then as Forest-Fourneaux) and revitalised by Pierre Taittinger in 1932 when he acquired the Château de la Marquetterie near Épernay. Today, under Vitalie Taittinger, the house remains based in Reims, crafting Champagnes defined by their high proportion of Chardonnay — a hallmark of the Taittinger style.
