The 2022 Masseria Tagaro Pinataro Nero di Troia is a bold yet polished red from Puglia, showcasing one of southern Italy’s lesser-known gems. Nero di Troia is known for its structure and depth, and this example delivers with plenty of dark berry fruit, hints of violet, and a touch of spice.
On the palate, it’s smooth and generous, with ripe tannins, juicy black cherry and plum flavours, and a savoury edge that adds complexity. There's good balance here between richness and freshness, making it a great match for grilled meats, pasta with ragu, or even a Friday night pizza.
