The Stoneburn Sauvignon Blanc is a bright, zesty expression of Marlborough’s signature style. Bursting with fresh tropical fruit, it leads with juicy notes of passionfruit and white pear, lifted by a hint of grapefruit zest.
It pairs beautifully with fresh seafood such as oysters, shrimp or mussels, grilled fish with a squeeze of lemon, crisp salads with avocado or grapefruit, herb-and-lemon chicken, asparagus or other light vegetable dishes with a vinaigrette, and even fragrant green or Thai-style curries.
Stoneburn, established in the heart of Marlborough, is known for crafting wines that are vibrant and approachable. This 2025 release is a perfect example - bright, refreshing, and made for easy enjoyment.

The 2025 Marlborough vintage hasn't yet written its full story, but the early chapters look promising. Spring arrived with typical Marlborough theatrics — changeable weather that kept growers on their toes — before settling into a growing season that delivered the goods when it mattered most. We're hearing talk of textbook ripening conditions through the crucial final weeks, the sort of steady autumn weather that lets Sauvignon Blanc develop its signature intensity without the rush that can flatten out the aromatics.
What's landed in our glasses so far suggests this vintage has captured that brilliant Marlborough tension we love — the tightrope walk between tropical exuberance and herbaceous precision that makes the region's Sauvignon Blanc sing. The Pinot Noir from the cooler sites is showing particularly well, with a liveliness that suggests these wines will reward patience. Most 2025 Marlborough Sauvignons are drinking beautifully now and should hold their nerve until 2027, while the Pinots want another year in bottle before showing their best — classic timing for this corner of the wine world.
