This is a sensational Carmenere from a single vineyard in the Colchagua Valley. The wine is extremely elegant, powerful and packed with ripe red fruit flavours that are fresh and vibrant. On the concentrated palate it is extremely juicy and the exceptional fruit flavours are supported with firm and bold tannins.
Long in the finish, the wine makes an ideal partner to red meats of all types.

Vintage report
2018 was a warm, dry vintage across Chile's key wine regions, and the results speak for themselves. A long, even growing season with well-timed rainfall gave growers the kind of conditions that make their job look easy — not that it ever is. In Casablanca, the cool maritime influence kept things fresh and precise, producing Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay with real definition and energy. Maipo delivered Cabernet Sauvignon of serious structure and concentration, the sort that rewards patience. Colchagua followed suit, with Carménère and Cab that felt richer and more generous in frame.
Across all three valleys, 2018 sits comfortably as a strong, reliable vintage rather than a once-in-a-decade outlier — consistent rather than showy, which in our view is often the more interesting proposition. The whites from Casablanca are drinking well now and there is no need to hold on. The reds from Maipo and Colchagua still have plenty to give, with the better examples drinking well until 2026 to 2030.
