Fresh cherry, ripe plum, and a touch of cedar and spice show on the nose, with a hint of pine‑forest freshness. The palate is smooth and medium‑bodied, with supple tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering red‑fruit finish.
Santenay, in the southern Côte de Beaune, produces approachable yet structured Pinot Noir, and the 2022 vintage is expressive and elegant, with ripe fruit balanced by freshness.
Edouard Delaunay's Beauregard pairs beautifully with duck with berry sauce, wild‑mushroom dishes, or a rich beef stew, and can be enjoyed now or over the next few years.
