From Beauregard’s mid‑slope, clay‑limestone soils - a terroir known for depth and good drainage - this wine delivers that classic Pinot character. Bright red berries and cherry dominate the nose, with gentle spice and a hint of fresh bramble - airy and inviting. On the palate it’s fresh and fine‑boned: light to medium body, soft tannins, lively acidity, and a mineral‑tinged finish that keeps things lively.
Delaunay's 2021 Santenay Premier Cru 'Beauregard' is a lovely match for dishes that let the wine’s finesse shine: herb‑crusted duck, porcini‑risotto with a drizzle of extra‑virgin olive oil, or even a mushroom‑ and lentil‑based vegetarian stew.
