Fresh red berries, cherries, and a hint of woodland herbs lead on the nose. The palate is light, precise, with bright acidity, fine tannins, and a subtle mineral lift.

The 2021 vintage was cool and challenging, producing leaner, more delicate wines that highlight terroir and finesse. This elegant Pinot from Edouard Delaunay pairs beautifully with herb‑roasted duck, truffle‑drizzled mushroom risotto, or a warm beet and goat‑cheese salad.

OUR GROWERS

Edouard Delaunay

The house of Delaunay, founded in 1893, has a prestigious history and was renowned as one of the exclusive distributors of DRC (Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) and La Romanée until the 1940s. In the 1990s, it was sold to Jean Claude Boisset. However, in 2017, winemaker and fifth-generation family member Laurent Delaunay repurchased the name, winery, and cellars adjacent to the family home, Château de Chaumont, leading to the revival of the maison.
