Morgon is one of Beaujolais’ most celebrated crus, known for its granite-rich soils that give the wines their signature cherry and kirsch character. This example shows a deep ruby colour with notes of raspberry, strawberry, and plenty of juicy red fruit on the palate. Concentrated yet fresh, it’s beautifully balanced with fine tannins and real drinkability — best enjoyed slightly cool, around 14°C.
The vines are owned by the sister of Jean-Jacques Vincent of Château Fuissé and receive the same meticulous care. Made in the traditional style (without carbonic maceration), it has a Burgundian finesse and ageing potential, drinking beautifully now and over the next few years.
