Bright red berries, wild cherry, subtle herbs and a touch of spice lead on the nose, while the palate is velvety and supple, with fresh acidity, gentle tannins, and a mineral-tinged, slightly spicy finish.
From a calcareous‑clay mid-slope just south of Marsannay, Delaunay’s “En Combereau” shows both elegance and depth. The 2020 vintage was warm and concentrated, giving ripe, expressive fruit while retaining balance and freshness. Polished and approachable now, it pairs beautifully with roast chicken, pork, mushroom dishes, or game birds, and has enough structure to age a few years.
