Albert Bichot’s Horizon de Bichot Pinot Noir shows a different side to the grape, with Burgundy know-how meeting the warmer climes of Limoux in the Languedoc. Fruit is sourced from several of the area’s contrasting terroirs, combining the freshness and finesse of the cooler Upper Valley with the extra ripeness and body of warmer Mediterranean and Autan sites.

Expect juicy cherry and raspberry alongside darker blackberry and blackcurrant, with hints of pepper, menthol and cedar. Silky in texture, with fresh acidity and supple tannins, it’s an appealing, fruit-led Pinot that balances southern generosity with a lighter, savoury edge. Try it with roast chicken, mushroom pasta or duck.
