OUR GROWERS

Giuliana Vicini

Giuliana Vicini is owned and managed by Chiara Ciavolich. Chiara focuses on producing small batch, artisanal wines with a focus on full flavour and regional character. All of her wines are made in honour of her great aunt, Giuliana, for whom the estate is named. While Giuliana was sidelined by the conventions of her time which did not permit women to be business owners, she eventually inherited the land and bequeathed it to Chiara, charging her with the task of making accessible wines free from the pretensions of the past. The women featured on this winery’s labels pay homage to Giuliana’s legacy.
