Produced from 100% organically grown Nero d'Avola, LaMura Nero d'Avola Biologico 2022 captures the warmth and generosity of Sicily in a fresh, approachable style. Grown in the island's sun-drenched vineyards and vinified entirely in stainless steel to preserve its pure fruit character, the wine is certified organic and made with minimal intervention.

The 2022 vintage offers vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, plum and blackberry, complemented by hints of Mediterranean herbs and sweet spice. The palate is soft and juicy, with supple tannins, bright acidity and a touch of savoury character adding balance to the generous red fruit. LaMura is one of Sicily's pioneers of certified organic winemaking, producing wines that reflect the island's warm Mediterranean climate and rich winemaking heritage. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils in western Sicily, where plentiful sunshine, cooling sea breezes and low rainfall provide ideal conditions for growing healthy grapes with minimal intervention. The winery focuses on both indigenous varieties, such as Grillo and Nero d'Avola, alongside a handful of international grapes, all farmed organically.
