The Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Domaine Tollot-Beaut is a striking white Burgundy from the limestone-rich, east-facing slopes of Corton-Charlemagne - Burgundy’s pre-eminent Grand Cru for Chardonnay.
You'll find an expressive bouquet of citrus blossom, ripe pear, white peach and chalky minerality, with hints of toasted almond and flint. The palate is concentrated, opening with vibrant acidity that frames layers of orchard and citrus fruit, unfolding into a long, saline finish with an almost tactile sense of limestone.
Pair it with beurre blanc-silky seafood such as lobster or scallops, grilled sea bass with lemon and herbs, creamy chicken fricassee, or an aged Comté.
