Château d’Esclans’ Rock Angel 2023 is the bold, confident older sibling to Whispering Angel—what some like to call "Whispering Angel in a leather jacket." It’s still beautifully fresh and elegant, but with extra depth, texture and personality thanks to partial oak ageing.
In the glass, expect a pale, polished rosé that’s as stylish as it is serious. The creamy mouthfeel from the oak is balanced by a crisp line of acidity and a touch of flinty minerality, giving it that lovely tension and finesse. Layers of ripe stone fruit, red berries and subtle spice unfold with every sip, leading to a long, silky finish.
This is one of the most in-demand rosés from the Côte de Provence—refined, expressive, and a little bit daring. Whether you’re serving it with grilled lobster, roasted vegetables, or simply sipping it as the sun goes down, Rock Angel will always feel like a bit of an occasion.
