Château Canet is a beautifully restored 19th-century wine estate set among rolling vineyards and olive groves in the heart of the Minervois, southern France. Owned by Floris and Victoria Lemstra, the winery focuses on sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention, producing wines that reflect the warmth and character of the Mediterranean.

Château Canet

The wines of Château Canet are expertly crafted by owner Floris Lemstra and oenologist Nathalie Leclercq. 80% of the domaine falls under the Minervois appellation of the Languedoc-Roussillon, while the remaining vineyards are classified as Vin de Pays d’Oc. Château Canet is dedicated to sustainable winemaking practices. HVE level 3-certified, their vineyard management reflects their respect for the land, and they diligently adhere to the ecological specifications of “Terra Vitis”. They utilise innovative techniques like “Sexual Confusion” – a natural method that uses biological pheromones to deter destructive moths rather than conventional pesticides.
