Les Hauts de la Garrigue Chardonnay Viognier is a bright, aromatic white with notes of apricot and zesty lemon on the nose. The palate is ripe and fruit-forward, yet stays crisp and refreshing thanks to the vineyard’s cooler, high-altitude location near Limoux, at the foot of the Pyrenees. This 60/40 blend of Chardonnay and Viognier was crafted exclusively for us by Floris Lemstra at Château Canet.
After a short skin-contact maceration, the grapes are gently pressed and only the clearest juice is used. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures, followed by six months of ageing in stainless steel to keep the fruit clean and vibrant.
A delicious, easy-drinking white with real finesse.
