Château Angludet is a long-established Margaux estate known for its consistent quality and classic, finely structured style. Since taking over in 1989, Benjamin Sichel has focused on encouraging the natural balance of the vines, favouring thoughtful vineyard work and minimal interference.
The 2021 Bordeaux vintage was cooler and more challenging than recent years, with frost and a damp summer demanding careful management. The result is a fresher, more restrained style, with lower alcohol, bright acidity and a return to a more classical, elegant expression of Margaux.
