Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Anne et Hervé Sigaut, 2021 is a poised and elegant Pinot Noir, offering fragrant red and dark berry fruit with violet and subtle spice, followed by a silky, medium-bodied palate of raspberry, redcurrant and gentle mineral nuance, finishing fresh and finely textured.
A lovely match for duck breast with a berry glaze, herb-roasted chicken, or wild mushroom risotto, which echo its finesse and aromatic lift.
The Sigaut family are long-established in Chambolle-Musigny, crafting bright, terroir-driven wines with a light touch, and despite the challenges of the cooler 2021 vintage, this wine shows the year’s hallmark freshness, clarity and balance.
