Crafted entirely from the Albariño grape, Bouza do Rei bears the name of a prominent winery in D.O. Rías Baixas. As one of the oldest and largest producers in D.O. Rías Baixas, Bouza do Rei was established in 1984 in Ribadumia, central to the historic Salnés subregion.
Over the years, its quality and capacity have grown, currently yielding nearly a million liters per harvest. Handpicked grapes undergo the traditional winemaking process in controlled-temperature stainless steel vats at the winery.
The winery's inspiration is the native Albariño grape, meticulously tended in their seaside vineyards on hills below a hundred meters in height. With a hundred hectares of Albariño vines, Bouza do Rei nurtures this variety, rooted in the heart of the region.
This fantastic Albariño is crafted from grapes picked in the heart of the Salnés valley, on small hills situated at 100 metres above sea level. It boasts aromas of white fruit, a harmonious balance, and distinct varietal character, also offering exceptional value for money.
