This excellent white Burgundy comes from vines based in and around Chorey-lès-Beaune where the domaine is based. The vines range from 15 years old to 60 and thus some great depth of flavour is achieved. It has good weight on the palate and is also quite concentrated.

Richly flavoured with good balancing acidity, it is dominated by apple flavours and some citrus notes and is backed by some good mineral notes. It spent a year ageing in barrel but the oak nuances are really well integrated.

OUR GROWERS

Domaine Tollot-Beaut

Founded in the 1880s, Tollot-Beaut pioneered domaine bottling in 1921. Today they are helmed by fifth-generation winemaker Nathalie Tollot who employs traditional techniques to produce their artisanal Burgundies. They use no fertilisers, keep yields low and harvest entirely by hand. Based in Chorey-lès-Beaune, their holdings span Aloxe Corton, Savigny, Corton, and the Premier Cru Beaune ‘Grèves’.
