Alcesti Moira Zibibbo is a dry white made from 100% Zibibbo (Moscato d’Alessandria) under the Terre Siciliane IGP designation in western Sicily. The grapes are organically grown, hand-harvested in September, gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel. The wine rests for around four months in tank followed by a short period in bottle before release, with alcohol at approximately 12.5%.
Pale straw with green reflections, it shows aromatic citrus, white flowers and a subtle mineral note. The palate is wonderfully fresh and dry, with crisp acidity and a clean, lightly savoury finish. Spot on with seafood, shellfish, light pasta dishes or Mediterranean salads.
