Alcesti Medea Catarratto Bio 2024 is an organic Sicilian white made from Catarratto, one of the island’s oldest native grape varieties. Grown near Marsala in western Sicily, the wine is fermented at cool temperatures and aged in stainless steel for around six months to preserve its freshness and bright aromatics.
Pale straw in the glass, it shows lively notes of lemon zest, green apple and white peach, with hints of citrus blossom and almond. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with juicy orchard fruit and a touch of mineral lift on the finish. It works beautifully with grilled prawns, seafood risotto or aubergine caponata.
