Kaapzicht, a family owned and operated estate in the Stellenbosch district, has been farmed by the Steytler family since 1946. They are committed to producing wines they would like to drink themselves: full bodied, round and fruity, with good structure, well integrated tannins and a long finish. All of their wines are certified estate wines and are therefore made from grapes grown on their own property and vinified in their own cellar.

The Steytlers strongly believe that better education is key for the future of South Africa. They take personal responsibility for creating educational opportunities for their farmworkers and their families, approximately 120 people who live on the estate. With the help of the charity organisation “Pebbles”, they provide childcare to those living on the estate and support the school fees for all of their employees’ children.
