Domaine du Grand Ormeau, located in Lalande-de-Pomerol, has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. The estate has been revitalised under current ownership, focusing on quality and sustainability.
The 14-hectare vineyard is predominantly planted with Merlot, along with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sustainable viticulture practices are employed to maintain vine and soil health. Vinification occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by ageing in French oak barrels. The resulting wines are supple and well-balanced, showcasing ripe fruit, smooth tannins, and a touch of oak.
