Domaine des Herbauges is a family-owned estate in Bouaye, just south-west of Nantes, where the Choblet family have been growing vines for several generations. The estate is rooted in the Côtes de Grandlieu, one of Muscadet's most distinctive terroirs, with vineyards influenced by the nearby Lac de Grand-Lieu and the Atlantic climate. Farming is carried out with a strong emphasis on sustainability, while low yields and careful vineyard management ensure concentration and freshness in the fruit. In the cellar, extended ageing on the lees is a hallmark of the estate's style, adding texture and complexity while preserving the bright, saline character that defines great Muscadet.

Today, Domaine des Herbauges is recognised as one of the leading producers in the appellation, crafting wines that showcase both the purity of Melon de Bourgogne and the ageing potential of the region.
