Vintage report

The 2025 vintage in Chile is, frankly, too recent for anyone to speak about with real authority — harvest wrapped up only months ago, and the wines are still finding their feet in barrel and tank. What we can say is that the 2024-25 growing season across Casablanca, Maipo and Colchagua followed the now-familiar pattern of a warming Chilean climate: warm, dry summers with relatively low disease pressure, which tends to suit growers who manage canopies well and pick at the right moment rather than waiting for the calendar to tell them to. Casablanca's coastal fog kept things cooler for the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, as it reliably does.

Beyond that, we'd rather be honest with you than dress up thin information in confident language. The 2025s we've tasted in early form are promising — there's freshness in the whites and good structure in the reds — but it is genuinely too soon to call this a great vintage or a merely solid one. Check back with us in 2026 when the wines are in bottle and we've had a proper look. In the meantime, the 2022s and 2023s from these valleys are drinking very well right now.
