Savigny-Les-Beaune Les Bas Liards, Pierre Meurgey, 2017
Savigny-Les-Beaune Les Bas Liards, Pierre Meurgey, 2017
- Red Still
- 75cl
A wine built for drinking now, it has good ripe fruit flavours with cherry dominant with some light spice notes behind. There is a faint whiff of vanilla from the cask maturation but everything is well integrated and this is very much a wine for current drinking with some good hearty meat dishes.
This wonderful wine is made from 40 year old vines in this small vineyard close to the centre of the village of Savigny les Beaune.
- ❖ ABV: 13.5%
