Corte Adami Valpolicella Superiore offers bright, red cherry fruit with a hint of exotic wood and roasted coffee on the nose. Well judged tannins and nicely judged acidity balance the palate which has plenty of very appealing cherry and blackberry fruit. Everything you might usually expect from a Valpolicella, and a whole lot more besides.

This Valpolicella is the product of 45 year old vines from the Adami family's estate in San Martino Buon Albergo. Taking a leaf out of the Amarone-makers' handbook, Corte Adami actually allows a short period of drying for the Corvina grapes, resulting in a surprisingly full bodied and rich style of this traditionally light red wine. To make it even more appealing, this Valpolicella spends a year in barrel to ensure that it has no rough edges.

  • ❖ ABV: 13.5%

OUR GROWERS

Corte Adami

Angelo and Andrea Adami’s families nurtured vines in Soave and Valpolicella for generations, and their grapes were always highly sought after by the most prestigious producers in the region. However, it was not until 2004 that they began crafting their own wines under the Corte Adami label.
