Domaine Alain Chavy Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2017 is from vines next to Les Demoiselles and displays fantastically concentrated, ripe citrus fruit, supported by an intense minerality. Finely woven, full of energy and very long indeed. There is enormous depth and power hiding behind the juicy floral and citrus fruit. Beautifully elegant, with a most persistent finish.
This Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru comes from an exchange of parcels (with Folatières) that Alain has engaged in with another undisclosed grower, Alain receiving the grand cru in the form of pressed juice.
