The second wine of the superb La Gaffelière and made with the same care and attention. It is for the largest part Merlot and delivers damson and plum fruit with hints of raspberry and hints of woodland paths. It is medium bodied with plenty of juicy fruit on the palate and lovely soft, ripe tannins. A superb little wine that although very enjoyable at present will give pleasure to the patient over the coming decade.
