This is a chateau that we fell in love with many years ago when it was the sister chateau to Clinet in the days of Jean Michel Arcaute. Today it is owned by the Borie Manoux company and the wine is still a great quality buy. As with most Pomerols it is based on Merlot and although young, the 2019 is very very drinkable at present but promises much in the future too. Based on berry fruit aromas and flavours the 2019 has a good tannin structure to give it life for the future and the kirsch and chocolate notes are wonderful in the finish. A great Pomerol at an attractive price.
