Meticulous wine-making have given this wine great precision and depth of flavour. It is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot and small amounts of Cabernet Franc and petit Verdot, the wine has a violet rim with wonderfully mineral aromas. The palate shows deep plum fruit with blackcurrant notes and a hint of cigar box and lead pencil shavings. Savoury and full flavoured, it has a further 15 to 20 years of drinking life ahead of it.
