Vignobles Canet Beaux Lieux éeserve Rouge is bright ruby red in colour, with ripe strawberry aromas on the nose. In the mouth the Beaux Lieux Réserve red is pleasantly fruity and well balanced with gentle tannins and beautiful freshness. Drink it young to enjoy it at its best, it can even be slightly chilled to make it a very refreshing summer bottle.
The "Beau Lieu" or "beautiful place" for this red from Vignobles Canet is a cooler corner of the Languedoc-Roussillon region where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic climates merge. Once harvested, the grapes are macerated at low temperature for several days to ensure maximum fruit extraction. After fermentation, the wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks and, as with the white version, no oak is used in the maturation of this wine.
