Collection: Villa Tinta

Villa Tinta Winery, located in Odessa, has gained a well-deserved reputation for its exceptional Odessa Black wine. This wine is crafted from 100% Odessky Cherny (Odessa Black) grapes which are grown in the vineyards surrounding the winery. This varietal is a cross of Alicante Henri Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon which was born in Odessa in 1948. This late-maturing, high- yielding vine is resistant to botrytis and downy mildew, as well as moderately resistant to frost which makes it perfect for the Ukrainian climate.

With a deep, dark ruby colour and bouquet of black fruits and spices, Villa Tinta’s Odessa Black has a velvety smooth texture, balanced acidity and well- integrated tannins. It has received more than ten medals at international and Ukrainian wine competitions in 2023 including the Ukraine Wine & Spirits Awards and Vinnytsia Wine Days, a new competition founded to celebrate the resilience of Ukrainian wine industry.
