Produced by Lorusso Michele, the Azienda Agricola Nardelli label focuses exclusively on the production of traditional Puglian red wines. Puglia, or Apulia, is located in the south-eastern corner of Italy. With a sunny, dry, and warm climate, gentle sea breezes, and limestone soils, this region has garnered acclaim for its olive oil and wine production. They utilize stainless steel tank fermentation and several months of rest over fine lees to preserve the fruit flavour and characteristics of their wines. Relying on traditional varietals, all of Nardelli’s grapes are hand harvested, ensuring only the very best fruit makes it into their blends.
